​@@dojomaharishisathyananda Lo iaijutsu originale di Kashima Shinto ryu mi risulta sia andato perduto, quello praticato oggi dovrebbe esserne un surrogato, elaborato da quello di una (o più?) scuole affini. Sicuramente hanno guardato a Katori Shinto ryu, visto che il fondatore imparò inizialmente Katori Shinto ryu da suo padre adottivo. Quel modo di fare chiburi c'era anche prima? Lo ignoro, ma dato il nesso storico tra le due scuole, non sarebbe sorprendente. Sta di fatto che è ben strano vedere un qualsiasi tipo di chiburi in quello che fate voi, che non è né iaido né iaijutsu.

@@scassoniostrarompi1691 Sono talmente tante le tecniche comuni a molte arti marziali che stare a cercare chi ha copiato qualcosa dall'altra risulterebbe un'impresa epica oltre che un'inutile perdita di tempo dal mio punto di vista. Inoltre la modalità di apprendimento cardine delle arti marziali è proprio il copiare quindi direi che se una scuola dimostra di fare un chiburi simile al nostro ma molto meglio del nostro si merita solo un grande applauso accompagnato da un profondo senso di rispetto e riconoscenza. La competizione esiste solo in chi non ha ancora approfondito una disciplina ma per chi è sulla Via non esiste competizione.

Dipende da come si vede la katana. Per un praticante di ai jutsu non è assolutamente un'arma ma un mezzo che concede al praticante la percezione della spiritualià quindi uno strumento di pace.

Bella domanda! E' una disciplina che richiede molta perseveranza, concentrazione, memoria, coordinazione, attenzione e dedizione. Sarà che sono qualità maggiormente presenti nella popolazione femminile?

​@@dojomaharishisathyananda Why that's kind of art uses a katana? There is no iaijutsu here, kenjutsu either. No connection with a truly japanese culture, except hakama and katana. Yes, in the modern time iaido is about process of knowing yourself more than art of fighting\killing with a sword, but it still has roots with the japanese tradition. Your school of *whatever you call it* hasn't this connection and roots. More than that, it hasn't a bunkai. But if it has, can you show at least bunkai of one single kata, on your choice. if you can't, there's a questions: art of what do you present? Why you can't practicing your harmony without japanese clothes and weapons?

@@GekkoBea We know the traditional iaido schools well, they are all very beautiful and fascinating styles. In some ways, ai jutsu is very different. The Bunkai is used by the Sensei as a method of exemplification when studying the kata but its learning is not required. Unfortunately it would be impossible to explain the issue through comments on social media but our schools are always open and available to anyone who wants to better deepen their knowledge of this art.
