I discovered Sissel at the beginning of that terrible Covid pandemic in March of 2022, retired from over 36 yrs as a hospital pathologist. Sequestering myself in the basement with larger screen and better sound system, I immersed my ears in many uplifting Christian oriented musical groups such as the Gaithers' vocal groups, The Morman Tabernacle Choir, and many others. One selection from the MTC from their "2017 Pioneer Days" featured Sissel and her rendition of "Slow Down" similar to "Be Still and Know that I am GOD." Her performance in front of the choir was nothing short of spectacular and divine. Anyone during extremely stressful periods of time should adopt her heartfelt, splendid rendition. In all of her musical videos, she uses her incredible ability to sing ONLY TO YOU, a singular attribute. It did not take me long to find out that she is considered one of the finest Sopranos in the world!
