Seen a lot of poop bags, fuel lane pissers, back row dumpers, and more increasingly in the last ten years. It's gotten really bad. I'm in my last winter of trucking. I've gotten all my big stuff paid off. I'm taking a little roody poot manufacturing job and I'm going home. Trucking just ain't it anymore.

Lol. Have you seen the piles of trash that car drivers leave? Trucks are liabilities, ticking bombs waiting to raise insurance rates, and they are too heavy. For many places the juice is not worth the squeeze. Many truckers are brain dead slobs on psychopathic spectrum, true. If drivers spent a few bucks, or even nothing at all, at a business without any big risks involved, those businesses would totally handle that extra trash.

These things will start to smell. Do rinse them out. And the bleach thing is a good idea. If you don't want to spend the money on the bottle, use an old 2-liter coke bottle (if you are a guy).

It isn't just truckers, sadly. There are way too many people who think being an "adult" means not having to show common courtesy and put in the little bit of effort to not be entitled, filthy brats making a mess and saying it's someone's job to clean up after them. I'm mortified if the wind sucks a napkin out the window.

The nickname for a coke bottle filled with piss is a "Trucker Bomb." I'm going to use the liquid detergent bottle for this purpose and their things like Park restrooms storm drains in the worst case scenario the bushes to discard them. One time when I was parked in the lot of an auto repair place (that I do information to park at), and there is no convenient place to pour it out, I grabbed an antifreeze jug out of the trash transfer my contacts to it and then put it back in the garbage.

Assuming you're LP, vs company DO NOT use Loves. Use MudFlap or another fleet card. I'm saving at least $200 / week. Make sure you communicate expectations with your dispatcher. I love mine. Sitting for Thanksgiving and doing book keeping, gross $45k, take home $16k since 1 Oct. Avoid East Coast to Mid West runs. Stay in the Dirty South.

To scrub the inside of a bottle - not necessarily for this reason - you can put a little coffee grounds in there with enough water to put some weight behind the coffee and give it a good shake and the coffee will scrub it clean. A dot of soap will sanitize it then, bleach would be kinda overkill once all the material has been removed.

Truck drivers are randomly drug tested several times each year. Most truck drivers don't drink or at least not frequently and as for prostitution that's almost a minority of drivers. You have a really bad misconception of truck drivers. Most of us are married with families or our own. You'd be amazed at how many are military veterans, former law enforcement, retired teachers, realtors, plumbers and more. Sadly, you obviously know nothing about truck drivers, who we are, backgrounds or anything else.

This problem has made things a lot more difficult for truckers and people who live in their vehicles. Many have forgotten the rule of pack in, pack out, and don't destroy the environment! There is no reason for these people to be tossing trash and bodily fluids all over the place, or treating a property like its their own personal campground that they can trash. I wonder what they think when they can't park somewhere anymore because of their filth and laziness. Bet they blame everyone but themselves!

I stopped over-the-road truck driving over 3 years ago. A lot of rest stops and Walmarts used to be fine with Truck drivers parking overnight but they started restricting because too many truckers are unsanitary. Its unfortunate that too many drivers are so low class they won't clean up their pet poop or leave urine bottles in parking lots and make it harder for the rest of us to find parking when we're done. Also don't buy the see-through bottles. Buy something that people won't see you walking around with yellow liquid pouring out on the grass or such, I know some truck drivers that would use empty detergent bottles, those were good.

It's not really surprising to me considering nobody looks at trucking as a job worth having. A father can't get his 18-year-old son into trucking, He asked to wait till 21, By then, the child probably has found something different. In addition, trucking is also a job with lots of people who barely speak English now. Long story short, there is no passing of the torch of culture from the old good truckers to the Next generation, So there's no consideration for the behaviors that make truckers look bad.

Dealt with truckers at an extremely busy private weigh station for a Anheuser Busch for work. The scummiest dirtiest truckers were always the European drivers, or dudes from eastern Europe. They were the least hygienic and would always throw garbage everywhere. South Americans were a close second.

I'm an urban stealth camper. The key is to NOT look like you're sleeping in your vehicle. Never dump your trash or bodily waste Willy nilly anywhere. Find a dumpster or public trash can to dispose of your waste. Don't LOOK like you're staying in your vehicle. As long as no one can see that someone is living in their vehicle, then no one will complain. And never stay in the same place more than a couple of nights at a time. Move around to someplace else every day or every other day. I've been doing this for the past year and only twice did I have a police officer check on me. As long as I am quiet and clean, there's never been a problem. Even at Walmart.

the why is because about 16% of humanity can not predict the outcome of their own actions. these people drift to jobs that are habit and impulse based. driving a truck is habit and impulse based and its a job that requires a low threshold to enter. so, People who barely function get these jobs and then society has to respond to their behavior. They barely perceive that things have changed, they only get more difficult and for these people life getting more difficult each year is normal.

There was a warehouse in Orlando that became a community drop lot with a bunch of owner op types using the place as their own personal parking yard and even leaving their personal cars there while they were gone on the road. Needless to say, it was recently cleared out and now nobody is allowed to stay there anymore and thats bad because Orlando has almost no truck parking anywhere unless you want to pay or drive a long way. 😢

Not just truckers, society in general. I used to live downtown above a bar with live music. On Saturday night there was no sleep until 4am. I would take the dog to the park when the bars got out. I would see trash from the restaurant, thrown on the ground beside a trash bin. Could not carry another 6 inches to get it right. People just lack respect all around, for other people, for the world we leave our children, grandchildren.
