Of the The then top 3 best scene's of the movie. White folk could boogie back in the 70's!

That was the start of the down fall of clubs. As it started to become clusters of men hanging together and women on their own with loud music and very little talking.

He can do anything. Walk Hard really showed off his comedic ability and all of his singing in different eras was spot on. That role is one of the reasons there should be an Oscar for comedy.

I feel like the genius of this film was how it glamorised and demonised the porn industry simultaneously and that reflects many peoples relationships with porn. They enjoy it while knowing deep down it's shameful, depraved and abusive for the people who work in it and that leads to guilt in the people who can't stop consuming it.

The genius is that Dirk is a genuinely likable, sweet natured kid. After the abuse he suffered from his mother you actually cheer wildly for him when he's on the rise because he deserves happiness. It doesn't matter that he's a star in a shady industry, he's made it.
