What a fun video! The only K-pop one I can think of is “drama” because the “dramamama” part irritated me. It clicked after a while. I’m still waiting for that moment with “Mr. vampire”. “Wife” I instantly loved because it’s the type of song that makes me laugh. I don’t mean that in an insulting way. Other examples are Hwasa “I love my body“ , Young Posse “Macaroni cheese“ and Somi “ Gold gold gold“! There are way more boy group songs that make me laugh though! Good evening, usually, the first impression and gut feeling are quite accurate. But some songs need time and a few listens to get them. "Antifragile" of LSF comes to mind. First I didn't get it, now I think it's their best work to date. Or "Te Quiero" and "REM" of KiOF. I listened and was not impressed, later i grew to like them. Gotta give some songs more than one shot and get used to them. Considering your songs: So happy you like "Kitsch" now. It is such a unique song 😊. The prechorus is gold. Rescenes Love Attack has one of the, if not the best chorus of Kpop this year. Beautiful song Poppy is not my favorite release of StayC, but I like to listen to it. I understand it grew on you. Meow.. unfortunately still very disappointing in my opinion. Such a shame, the member trailers were so, so good and let expectations rise.

One thing about me is that I almost never change my idea about songs 😂😂 it has happened less than 10 times I think. The biggest changes were with I Got A Boy by Girls' Generation (but also... It was one of the first mainstream "disjointed" K-pop songs, I think we all weren't equipped enough to get it at first listen lol) and a similarly conceived British song which is Biology by Girls' Aloud. Then I would say Cake by Itzy maybe? It's one of my favourite Itzy title tracks now but I wasn't that excited at the beginning even if I still liked it overall. Also One Spark by Twice, I genuinely love that song now (one of my most streamed K-pop songs in 2024). I thought it wasn't all that at the beginning. It has an insane replay value. My biggest crime is that I didn't like Sweet Melody by Little Mix the first time I heard it, no idea how my ears were functioning.
