As a kpop fan and someone who studies theory/composing, I really love Jonghyun's way of writing in his solo works. Although most of Jjong's works stick with to conventional progressions, he always adds details/things that's his own style and when you hear the instrumental, you can tell that it's Jonghyun who wrote it. (e.g. Just Chill (the ending part), I'm so Curious (ending rap like part)) (Also love the dense chromatic harmonies he uses in songs like Love Belt and Neon and his take on jazz with Blinking Game. It's pleasant for someone who loves classical and jazz music too) Idk if I'm just yapping or not but Jonghyun truly left a remarkable legacy as a poet and artist in the kpop industry. He did well!
