0:29 When you have a battery that is reading too low to charge, I've found that using a simple household 9v battery in serious with a couple of jumper wires will let you start the repair charge. Saved a lot of batteries this way. Edit: be sure to remove the 9v household battery immediately when the charge starts.

Sorry can’t think of anything except maybe a fuse, but unlikely as usually it would be only front or rear not both. Worth checking though.

I’ve inherited my Mum’s . Re the roof / boot, the “will it or won’t it work” thing adds real excitement to the ownership experience. My girls love the car, as do I TBH. Mostly the strong torquey 1.8 engine. Looks good too with the roof down. If it works 😂

Have you actually done this job on a Tigra? Unless you have miniature hands, no way it’s possible with headlight in place on passenger side. Thanks for wasting precious time to write though.

Really useful video. Seems relatively simple to do. My 2.5 is struggling on startup and I'm having to pump the pedal whilst turning over to get it to fire up, could this be a potential solution? To go really shoestring, are you able to clean the valve instead of replacing?
@shoestringmotoring2 ай бұрын
Doesn’t sound like this is your problem actually. You can try to clean it. There’s not much to it and it’s easy to remove. Your issue sounds more like crank trigger. Need putting on diagnostics

@shoestringmotoring3 ай бұрын
I don’t think there is. The device keeps on recording but in small chunks. It makes it easier to find things if you have too. It’s basically to record accidents.
