For me Scotland does an incredibly good job at showing you how truly insignificant we are on this vast planet of ours . I realise there are larger more dramatic geological structures in the world but for the UK Scotland does not fail to impress. Every turn , every crest of a hill or bottom of every valley holds something special for the heart , mind and eye . There are so many superlatives to describe this beautifully stunning landscape all of which are vastly overused . Yet none of which actually do it the justice it so rightly deserves. Scotland is also a great reminder of how finite our time here is . And how very very little of it we have left . The desire to stay that little while longer to take in the sights , smells and sounds of your current location grows stronger and stronger with each passing day . Yet always in the back of your mind is the urge to leave . To discover what wonders may lay ahead. There is so much to see , do and experience . And never enough time. Scotland we miss you ! I want to say something really witty like, what did you type in to Chat GPT to get that description! BUT.... I know you better - You'd never use AI as you think its the Devil, sooooo did Lou write it cos you cooked dinner! 🤣 Seriously tho - Perfect, word for word perfection! ANNND it's on our doorstep, no getting on a Eurothingy, or one of those bastards that float, just a few hours north on the motorway and BOOM "Welcome to Scotland" YES! WE DO MISS YOU - As you know I'm preparing the rig to head back up there for longer, I'm not sure when I'm going, BUT I'm 100% sure I'll be ready when the time comes!
