Brother your editing is superb! I wanted to learn that bro. What I can trade is teaching you Filipino and my knowledge in copywriting and mnemonics. PS. Let me know if you're interested! 😊

Brother your system is interesting! When I was in high school and college I was using Harry Lorayne's memory system. I was taking exams like nothing. I can get a perfect recall all the time. I even joined a memory competition back then and we were memorizing a deck of cards, large numbers and binary digits. But, I wanted a simpler system. Because using mnemonics needs time and so much preparation. I'm going back to school after 10 years of graduating from college. I'm taking law school. Your system will be perfect. Since we need to read a lot. I'm wondering if you have a blog. I'm more of a reader. Anyways, more power to your channel! 😊 PS. What specifically do you write on the connection part?

That's not a photographic memory. The proof is that you had to take notes - if you had a photographic memory, you'd not have had to take notes. A photographic memory is pixel-perfect.

how on earth is everyone not watching this man? i found you looking for some study techniques to level up my game over summer and ended up starting a meditation habit and with an appreciation for cinematography. whatever black magic you use to color grade is working man!

I loved your video: very well-crafted, packed with information and genuine in the tone you shared. Thanks a lot! I have a curiosity and a more serious question for you. My curiosity: where do "Sirianni" comes from? :) My question: what about using a "digital"-hybrid way of taking notes? Say for instance having a nice tablet with a nice digital pen for writing, drawing, storing an infinite amount of notes and perhaps making a stack accessible only in a sequential manner? I like the analog world, really. But I am also wondering about two issues, namely: backup and transportability of the entire collection. What do you think about that?

ah i forgot to mention actually that’s why i ended up commenting - the video is clickbait and misleading. if someone needs to resort to this (which adds x the time it takes to just read something and not do any of this) they are light years away from a photographic memory. in fact it is the opposite, photographic is instantaneous - this process adds a huge delay which you take in just to summarise and learn “the real TLDR” of anything.

ok so i watched the video. this is not a hack, master technique or anything of the sorts. perhaps it can help people who really struggle with this, im not sure. but what i know is that it is not sustainable, the effort required is too much to make it work with any real amount of information. if all you want to remember is first grade notes on history sure. when at the end i realised this was what the video was about i felt sorry for people that actually would find this video helpful, and at the same time made me realise probably i should be more grateful than i am. btw if anything, read the art of memory by Yates

These videos always make me scrunch my nose and lift an eyebrow. The "science" of memory isn't really a science. Most of cognitive science is built on bad metaphysics, not cold-hard facts. A scary majority of cognitive scientists (and philosophers) seem unable to acknowledge that "the mind" cannot be accounted for by science or facts. Not to mention, conflating the mind with the brain is borderline pseudoscience. The most we can say about the mind is that it is a metaphor---not a scientific or logical fact.

You cannot ‘learn’ photographic memory. Visual mental processing is an intricate process between the frontal lobe and the visual cortex …

if you write it down it isnt a photographic memory, its just memorizing. ive never had a system and i have a photographic memory and remember literally everything. its just recall on things isnt always instant, its like a library that is not organized and you have no references to help you find anything.

Do not discount the power of physically writing. Typing on a phone or computer does not ingrain the information the way writing does. Writing and repetition work the brain like exercise works the muscles. Also, big thumbs up for the "personal connection"; powerful idea.
