I love this video so much and i come back to it over and over. It feels like someone telling you about their hobby for 4 hours and 15 minutes and i love that vibe. Hope you had a lot of fun making this. As someone who hasn’t played any metal gear games I certainly had a lot of fun watching it (your summaries of the games and their plot were really well done and made it very easy to follow even for someone who had no clue what was going on). Great job with the video would love to see more passion projects like this in the future!

Also this is an old video I will comment that an unarmed only run, where you can’t be khajit/argonian, and you can’t disenchant the gloves of the pugilist. Would be very frustrating and entertaining

Can you beat Fallout 3 with only the firelance? You can only get the firelance in a random encounter with around 15 alien cells to start off with.

The radio would’ve been really cool if the ranger you got was a new companion. He or she could start out totally loyal to the NCR but slowly become disillusioned as they travel the wastes and find out about the NCR’s incompetence. Their companion quest could’ve involved them choosing between staying with the NCR or trying to find a new life with another cause, and you convince them to choose one.

I like mgs5's ending. The entire time you play the game, weird inconsistencies keep coming up that conflict with past game stories, and it really hammers home how Venom Snake was almost obviously not big boss. There was always this feeling that something was wrong lingering between plot points, and the reveal explains why venom is so quiet, why his cqc animations are so different, why he doesnt seem to really remember specific details he should know. A lot of mgs5 fans came around to the story revolving around an unreliable narrator, Venom Snake. The phantom pain isnt about revenge, its about loss. Loss of a language, loss of body parts, loss of your own identity. When you find paz on mother base and subsequently find out that she isn't really there near the end of the game, that's the moment that really hammers in that venom snake isn't big boss. Paz, amnesiac pretending to be a younger version of herself turns out to not be real. Venom snake, a man forced to believe he's another, finds out he's not the genuine article. Paz's appearance was a visual manifestation of venom's loss, the phantom of his past life peeking through the blinds warped in the lense of big boss himself to only represent something both he and boss once knew, paz. When a grand lie like thst is told to you, someone who still doesnt fully remember that life before the day they lost their identity, its undeniable that venom snake would go all in on being big boss, there was nothing left of his old self even if he wanted. So why not keep the grand lie going? It's the only thing you know is real.
