The Pumpkins crushed live then. They were far more an arena rock band a combination of Boston, Rush and Triumph then sloppy angst filled grunge. They were mislabeled from Gish on

Saw them 2 months later headlining Lollapalooza when I was 15. They followed the Beastie Boys and they brought the house down. The show was in Kansas and they opened the set with Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

This strangest thing about this show is which strats Billy uses, they’re all tuned different than what they usually were (Star strat drop D, I love my mom half step down, bat strat standard, etc)

Jimmy is one of the best percussionists to have ever lived, imo. He has such a groove that is hard to match. SP we're lucky to have him. I think their best stuff was wit Jimmy. Billy Corgan was so cute. And he had hair. Great show. Thanks to the uploader.
