Clearly Drake is the pop lane, Kendrick is the conscious/traditional hip hop lane, and Tyler occupies the more experimental lane of the genre. If you wanted to hand that title to someone like Travis - I wouldn’t argue with you. Doja is a massive artist but she’s more in Drakes lane than Tyler’s lane - who’s kind of filled that void that Kanye has left. The uplifting - be yourself - soulful and enigmatic weirdo rap. The "Big 3" is more of a time period tittle, similar to how "One piece", "Bleach", and "Naruto" all were running around the same time in which they were all very popularized as upcoming shounen series. This doesnt mean that Tyler isnt up there as an artist as he is very talented. He just isnt in the "BIG 3". Theres of course other factors that come into play but im not going to get into more details.
