Nice video but I am not sure if it's my monitor or the video itself because its very low resolution making it blurry. I am just getting into burning tiles and I am looking at different creators for tips. You seem to have it down rather well and your work is excellent. I have a 40w X-tool D1 pro and from what I've seen, 100% power and 1000mm/sec is working. I will obviously do a test burn to verify. Where are you getting your images that you are burning? I've seen images from Davinci but I'm totally turned off by them bc once you subscribe, you only have a limited amount of downloads and have to buy more. Looking for other places to get images from. I have subscribed and will def look at more of your work for tips and tricks. Appreciate your response.

Weeding out the unwanted stuff I would of held control selected all boarders and changed layer color, turned it off, select all the unwanted stuff and delete.

We’re kind of new to light burn and I am trying to laser engrave with a diode laser on a 9 ounce wine glass. I’m able to get the image and the text that I want but my cutting on the glass seems very rigid and not smooth. do you have any tips for me as far as settings would go for speed and power or how to make my engraving smoother 8:02

lightburn sucks ass. quality wise its on the level of open source software

Updated prices, £60 was a fair price but it just went up to nearly £100 during our free trial. Spoke to customer service who said they have priced it so more people can afford.

Lightburn...select the outer border of your shape...use "Select Contained Shapes" (edit menu)...de-select your border and press delete. Deletes all the shapes inside your outer shape. Build a jig for A4...no need to align. Just put your home at the corner of your jig.

Thanks Gill. I've been using my Emblaser 2 with a school for over a year now. I've noticed the brass cap getting harder and harder to remove over time. I finally needed a rubber protected wrench to remove the cover and instead of the cap unscrewing, the entire brass sleeve with the lens inside was removed from the aluminum. Do you have any suggestions on the distance I need to screw the tube back in? Also, do you know if it would be a good idea to use thread-lock to keep that tube from coming out in the future?

Lightburn is a really usefull tool but be careful. I bought it 2 years ago and lost my license key number. I asked and Lightburn said they couldn't find me so I had to pay again the full £110 to get another. be carefull as this is a rippoff.

I don't get the point. You can separate specific areas afterwards and laser them again. Why the work in advance if not for different settings? But great video I was searching for the info how to start the job from a specific point and from the preview was the way to go. Thanks very much

Just setup new xtool s1 laser, and bought a new camera to use with rc 1.7r11 Lightburn.. Hardest part deciding where to mount the camera I created two macreos for lid detection on and off., then changed my start gcode to have lid detection on, just in case I forget to close the lid.
