coat it with a layer of lime and you can make it pretty much water resistant on the surface level atleast. if there was lime introduced into the cob mixture, then the whole wall could have become waterproof.

Many people in america have no 🏠. Maybe you inspire many people to create their home. Cities could build homes for their homeless people. I love these vidoes, because there are resources for the homeless. May your vision expand to other people.

How come people from California or from wherever are always making these "organic meals" but they are always fat? 😂 😂 🤣 🤣 Excuse me while I go eat chocolate cake 🎂🍰I eat crap and I look just as healthy if not healthier... I know you physically feel better eating healthy but the reality is all the food today is gmo fake organic fake good for you fake healthy food. Did you know corn 🌽 is not ment for humans? Why do you think it comes out looking the same way it went in? It's because corn 🌽 doesn't digest. 🤯 💥

What i see is downsizing that is easily breached when authorities want to invade your spce im not going with that no protection from a bullet or fire no place to run or hide thats why there are so many homeless so they can be easily tracked bothered or harmed no thanks 😊

Love the skylight from the bed. Dreaming yourself to sleep with the view of the sky. So Heavenly.....I was melting just listening to you describe your environment, particularly how you had these little laughs peppered in. You so appreciate creativity. How wonderful that your friends helped you weave the interior roof.

What is reason for adding donkey manure?
@naturalbuildings15 күн бұрын
12 inches at base and tapers up to about 8 inches at the top. Manure has fibers that add tensile strength and the enzymes also can help make a strong plaster. Not entirely necessary though. Chopped straw can be just as effective if you prefer not to work with manure

@@naturalbuildings sensational, thanks for answering quickly, That makes me feel more comfortable now with the build Iam constructing, have got 12inches too

I wonder about the cost of the land and taxes. No offense, but he isn't even paying those bills with his music. He did acknowledge the permitting issues. I can't say I can disagree with him at all though as far as his thoughts go. He certainly does seem quite happy where he is at.

I would really be interested in talking about costs of materials and labor. I know some of that cost can be offset by hosting Cob workshops. A video detailing this would really help people get transparent about their means and be a great way for people to imagine their own projects

I visited Nader Kahlili in Hesperia about 20 years ago. Maybe I'm wrong, I remember instead of leaving the sandbags and covering them, their process was to cut away the sandbags and whitewash or color the exterior. Very nice domes you have made, thanks for video!☮
