I can also attest to your flywheel theory. I have three Panamas, all NIB, and one Lady Delta that had a new flywheel, as permanent installs when I had my house built in 2018. My bedroom Panama I had in a previous apartment and brought with me. The blades have warped over time on anll of them and the fans are used very heavily. They all get a flex to them that on high looks like a UFO is fixing to land. Zero wobble. Zero noise. Zero bearing sounds. Only exception with my living room Panama when my gf accidentally hit the reverse button on the Inteli-Touch. Lots of noise. Put it back to forward and it remained noisy for a day or two, back to silent, since. And that was last year. Incredible fans that I never plan to replace. Same with my front and back porch Originals.

I used to live in Austin and now just an hour north. Texas Ceiling Fans is still amazing. The outside is getting really run down. All the porch Originals are trashed with birds nests and broken blades. But the inside is still awesome. They know me there by name lol. I go there for parts from time to time. My non-ceiling fan-obsessed friends and family soemtimes request visits when we are downtown.

I love this fan, and it makes sense why it didn’t sell well, seems like Brushed Steel wasn’t as popular in the 1990s, but got more popular in the 2000s.

@@vintagefancollector1436Yeah. I would open spinner motor if I really need to. I had an AirMax motor which did have wires going out of windings, which I did fix. It’s just not something I did right away and just did at spare time. Also one of my childhood CEI Hunter Low Profile V really started to have bearings go bad. So bad that I had to replace the bearings. But I succeeded.

Hey, what's up? it's nice to see you uploaded again, it's been a while. Installs still look great even though there hasn't been much that has changed. And I can agree with getting fan parts mixed up, at least I don't have as many fans as you and a bunch of other collectors do.

“craftmade sucks”. “craftmade is cheap glorified builder crap”. “Hunter original is the best fan ever made and will beat every residential fan ever made”. “Hunter originals last forever so high quality”. These are all lies and are stupid opinions. Like come on. People bash and bash on craftmade yet praise and treat Hunter originals like it’s their god… Charles S and a few others are a good example of this.
