I think the information on thinning is often wrong also. Or at least needs corrections. I've been gardening for a few years and keep running into people saying to thin fruit trees and waste fruit. But it seems like many trees thin themselves.

After posting this video I was walking through the allotments with a friend. We learned from someone visiting that plot number 40 won the most romantic corner contest. It just so happens plot 40 is featured here. I didn't see the romantic corner but if they won the prize then the plot has a hidden gem. I wonder how many gems are hidden in these gardens.

What a place of beauty. Though what a shame they close so early. Many people like myself like to garden in the early evening after work.

My thoughts exactly! There are still many hours of light after 4 pm. In the Netherlands there are seven hours of sunlight after closing time in this season.

Very well explained 🍋🌱👍How long does it take until roots will show up? I've tried to do it with a banana peel and a rose. It worked but then I left the young rose 🌹 in a tiny pot outside in the frost and that wasn't good. I'm going to try this. Your channel was recommended to me by KZbin and you have a new subscriber. how long will it take to root? how long do you leave it wrapped up?
@shoshanasplace
@shoshanasplace 5 ай бұрын
The time frame varies, usually after five to six weeks I check them. If I see roots beginning to for then I know it will be a couple weeks more so from six to eight weeks. Sometimes I find roots develped enough to transfer with the first check, other times the roots are too small and have to grow more. Once, I was too late; roots developed but there wasn't enough soil to sustain them.

I had 5hat problem when my trees were young. For quite a few years I thought I'd never get fruit and even worried about my trees' survival. I didn't prune to insure they had enough mass to survive. Once they reached enough density the leaves and flowers stayed on. This is true for all my citrus trees. I still have that problem with my younger, smaller trees. The winds blow up the mountain straight from the sea. Other fruit trees lose flowers, too. I'm so happy when I get fruit..

It appears they are all taking care of the kits. I don't want to pick up the rabbits to check who is nursing. It's best to just let them be since they are caring for the babies.

They are definitely oranges. Yes, they still have some green on them; they are tastier when picked not fully orange. They quickly turn fully orange after picking and last longer than oranges that ripen fully on the tree.
