From a lore perspective reaper or any leviathans can't have kharaa because they eat creatures that have enzyme 42 getting such a high consistency of it that they are completely immune to kharaa

Fun fact: repers are both immune to khaara, as well as not inteligent enough to be tamed (literally most of their bodies are muscle, so much so that it limites not only the size of their brain but their bones as well)
