Hi Anya, I'm one of your followers on instagram, very glad to find you here in a more extensive video format. As you said the one you used in the video was a pre-made compost, could you, please, give the proportions of the ingredients, if we were to do it ourselves? Also, can we use vermicompost for the compost fraction and to it add sand and grit or is the vermicompost too rich in nutrients even when added in a small percentage? And, as for the horticultural grit, can we use pumice in place of that? Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience.

No-one shows in the video what to do next! Pot on, but trim out growing tip to encourage bushiness I assume, but how far down? If I have 3 leaf nodes then the tip, do I go down to 2 nodes or one? I often get leggy plants so I don’t think I’m doing it right!! Enjoyed video though…useful tip re.little shoots with flowers! Often v hard to find shoots without any!

It’s a lovely plant😍 I bought a pot of it today. I live in the Uk. How does it handle rain? We get a fair bit where we live. I’d love to propagate some😊

I seen a garden with Verbena going up each side of garden steps . About 30 in total ,it looked so impressive. I'll try taking cuttings this week and over winter inside garage window sill for spring . Fingers crossed I'll have a great display next year.

I just some semi ripe cutting of my hydrangea Fire & ice several days ago and planted them as recommended. They are all wilting - is this normal?

Love the detailed information- it is so great to get more knowledge in combo with your popular short videos 😊🌱. I have a question for you. As I live in Sweden where the winters can be very cold and irregular (cold+snow mixed with warmer periods) I have the issue of how to get my cuttings to survive the winter. What do you think I should do to protect them? (Both the hardwood, semihardwood and softwood cuttings taken over the year of different plants). Thanks again Anya for all of your content❤

Also- is it too late to propagate by semi hardwood cuttings when the first frost nights has come?

Great idea for planters. What size whiskey barrel did you use and how many plants did you plant in the whiskey barrel? Is that just one plant in the whiskey barrel? Thanks and I will try this.

I just found you from Gardeners World - I watch in the US. I’m so happy! Buying your book right away! I love my lavender but it’s getting so leggy, and it’s become this enormous shrub with big holes from the weight of the branches. My question is, does lavender have an expiration date? Is it time to take cuttings and say goodbye this autumn?
