It might sound ''dumb'' to you because you are a local, but for people from other countries, even these ''tourist traps'' are interesting because it's something different/new to them. I did all the touristy stuff in Banff National Park in Canada and I don't regret a single dollar spent on those activities. I'm from Slovakia and the Canadian Rockies were a different world to me :)

Why would you pay for campsites when wild camping is free?

Most of the time in the 4 weeks we stayed at free park ups, only stayed on a campsite for a couple of nights to do our laundry, have some time to reset with our work, and empty our chemical toilet which we had at the time as we were far from a service place ☺️

@@CoconutsandCamelsOh that makes sense! My partner and I did a trip arounf the whole country in a month (ofcourse that’s way more rushed). But yeah we went with our car and a tent, never payed for parking. But we also didn’t have a toilet 😅 Norway is in my opinion the most beautifull country! 🇳🇴😍 Greetings from a Belgian! 🇧🇪
