I like your video so much. Giving like and subscribing😉 Im happy you like the nature spirit of our small Slovakia 👍 I know all the places you've visited intimately from my childhood and love them so much. But thats was just a little bit of slovak nature and country side. You definitely should return and explore more 👍 Wishing you good luck to Nordkapp. Don't worry you'll do it. We did it last year with our small MPV car. It was amazing 3 weeks roadtrip adventure 👌Your Van is the most perfect choise for going to Nordkapp. I recommend you to go not only to Nordkapp but go to the real mostnorthen Europe's point called Knivskjelodden. Its 18km of hiking by foot but definitely it's worth it. Good luck and looking forward to the video 😉

Great video - you have given a good example of this beautiful country. I am convinced that Slovaks do not sell their country as a tourist destination because they want to keep it for themselves! I have lived here for 29 years now and my work for Radio Slovakia International enabled me to explore this wonderful country in the heart of Europe - yes the geographical centre of Europe is in Slovakia. If you are visiting again please get in touch and I will give you some tips on places to visit.

I am Slovak and I am engaged in hiking, I recommend proper waterproof hiking shoes for such terrains as in the Slovak Paradise. In such terrain, it is important that the shoes are above the ankles. This will limit the possibility of leg injury by spraining the ankle. Thank you for visiting my homeland.

I remember taking that same route up to the treetop walk when I was about 12, it was just after the skiing season so I walked along the cable cart route. On the way down I flipped my coat so the zip was on the back n ‘skied’ down on my stomach. I’ll always remember the fun I had.

Looks awesome guys. Budget is our favourite word 🤣 What’s Slovakia like for stealth camping in the van. We’re in Slovenia and it’s not great.
@CoconutsandCamels Жыл бұрын
Haha same! Yeah it was pretty good 👍🏼 a lot more options free parking then in Slovenia however there wasn’t many service points in the north.

So you went straight for the dumbest tourist trap in Slovakia. Good strategy. :D
@CoconutsandCamels8 ай бұрын
We love a tourist trap! Still spent under 100 euros though! 🤣

It might sound ''dumb'' to you because you are a local, but for people from other countries, even these ''tourist traps'' are interesting because it's something different/new to them. I did all the touristy stuff in Banff National Park in Canada and I don't regret a single dollar spent on those activities. I'm from Slovakia and the Canadian Rockies were a different world to me :)
