Backwards and forwards is all relative to how the end users uses the device. The motor just goes forward and reverse. The unit is mounted such that the battery indicator is visible to the person driving the GoKart. Just a visual thing.

It depends on the kit that you get. If you get the Pro or Pro 2, it comes with the motors. I've seen kits out there that just have the chassis and no motor.

It has happened many times. That means backing out the bottom car and lowering the lift again. I learn to triple check before raising the car.

That’s great detail. I work at an engineering firm cannot get the M30 to create anything close to that detail even using GCPs. I’m curious about the camera settings and software that you use to process these. We are using TBC and Global Mapper.

I suppose it depends on how hard the kart is driven. If I'm taking it easy I can last maybe 45 minutes. If I'm pushing the pedal all the way, I can drain the battery in 25 minutes. Lots of fun and have not been disappointed by the gokart. Usually I ride with my son so he'll ride for about 20-25 minutes. Hope that helps.

Depending on where you order the kit from, some come with the motor, others do not. Pay attention to the details on the sale. If it's below $1000, it's probably just the body without motor.
