That’s great detail. I work at an engineering firm cannot get the M30 to create anything close to that detail even using GCPs. I’m curious about the camera settings and software that you use to process these. We are using TBC and Global Mapper.

I have recently acquired a Sciclone G3/G3T for my home lab and am having some trouble locating the appropriate company/people to contact for manuals and to acquire the maestro software. Is this something you could help me with? If so, that would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Foster, thanks for the message. That's great to hear that you acquired a Sciclone automated liquid handler. Out of curiosity what are the first 4 characters/numbers in your serial number for your system? I work for the company and use the instrument on a day to day basis. Best place to ask is technical support at 1-800-762-4000. Do you do Next Gen Sequencing sample prep in the lab you work at? What state are you from?

@@ngl1145 SS14, the instrument is branded Sciclone. Ill have to give them a call tomorrow. I am a student, and purchase surplus instrumentation and repair/repurpose them. Mainly GC, MS, or LC systems but I got a great deal on the G3. Im located in Michigan.

@@FosterCaragay The Sciclone is an excellent instrument for liquid handling. We use them mainly for Next Gen DNA Sequencing automated sample prep. I would suggest that you purchase a controller from Revvity to use on that Sciclone. The system requires air input to control the gripper movement up and down (65 PSI). What do you intend to use the Sciclone for? I’m an applications engineer that has been programming these for the last 18 years so I know a lot about the systems.
