Con todo respeto, y "pensando en voz alta" como se suele decir . Primero decir que el shuai jiao es un arte marcial muy interesante. Sin embargo, que lástima que no exista un arte marcial especializado en derribos que sea 100 % práctico para la calle. Es decir , que permuta derribos sin tener que sujetar la ropa, como la lucha greco, pero que permita usar las piernas para desequilibrar , como el judo o shuai jia, y que no permite la greco. Es decir, lo que tiene un arte marcial , le falta al otro. En otras palabras hace falta un híbrido entre lucha greco romana y shuai jiao por ejemplo. Saludos 👍

Παρατηρώ μια στροφή προς το shuai jiao στο κανάλι σας και αναρωτιέμαι ποιά είναι η γνώμη σας πλέον για το πιο παραδοσιακό Eagle Claw. Θεωρείτε πως είναι ακόμα χρήσιμο ή πως πιο ανταγωνιστικά αθλήματα όπως το shuai jiao προσφέρουν περισσότερα;

Όλα είναι χρήσιμα και όλα έχουν τον χρόνο τους στην προπόνηση μας. Αλλά είναι μεγάλη κουβέντα τι είναι παραδοσιακό και τι όχι. Πάντως το shuai jiao δεν είναι μόνο άθλημα. Ίσως είναι η αρχαιότερη μορφή μαχητικής τέχνης στην Κίνα και παππούς πολλών στυλ Wushu.

Some of the practices and exercises tought in those WuShu/Karate schools are religious spiritual ceremonies. Faithful Christians/Jews/Muslims must be aware of that, if they ever plan to participate in intensive advanced Oriental martial arts training. Even if you are an atheist, you should oppose, by definition, to practicing various Taoist/Buddhist/Hinduist religious rituals. One cannot be a non-believer exclusively regarding Christian/Jewish/Muslim monotheistic practices, and consecutively dedicate many years of his life into practicing advanced esoteric Oriental religious rituals!
