the 3ds family of consoles has so much personality with its custom menus and pseudo games. i get nostalgia just turning on my system to hear the boot music

Speaking of transferring data to a larger sd card, it is really easy from what I heard. Literally format the new sd card, make a backup copy of the old one onto your PC, and transfer everything to the new sd card. I will be using this method since my 3ds will arrive modded and I need a larger space.

I miss how portable the 3ds is. The switch is too big even the lite is too big

I think one of the things that brings us back to the DS or the 3DS is that the games feel like they're meant to be played and put away. (Short play session) I have found that the Nintendo switch is just too big and bulky and a lot of the games if they are not Nintendo first party titles are not readily accessible for the short quick play sessions that you might encounter at work or other places.

I was recently able to pick up a new Nintendo DSI XL And a 3DS XL. boy Oh boy I think the DS is overlooked for the 3DS The DS has an incredible library and yes I know you can emulate the DS on the 3DS but for those who know DS games look best on a DS they're meant for it the 3DS has too many pixels and the image is blurred. Either way I have been enjoying both consoles greatly and it is very nice to have two brand new consoles with zero wear.

I'm going to be getting one in the next few days. I'm stoked. Not really because it's a handheld though. I just don't have much money and it's gonna be the best PC I've ever had for gaming. I'll probably play it docked a lot, though I don't have the best setup for that either, so if it works out maybe I'll be playing all those games I've never been able to play before handheld.

All those people saying that it was great that Nintendo just had one system they could focus on were so naive. We lost so much when they stopped 3ds production and never replaced it.

I actually feel like that was a great era for Nintendo it was the last few years of better practices before Nintendo realize they could nickel and dime their customers with trash games. I mever understood why so few people bought the wii U compared to the switch the switch is a significantly worse console in almost every way literally the only thing it had going for it is its mobility other than that the wii U was smoother has a better game library it doesnt have battery problems it was more ergonomic and the gimmicks unique to certain games were very smooth. More importantly it was a full blown home console unlike the switch and its god awful performance when connected to a big screen.

It's linux gaming. Thousands of developers all around the world are working day and night to make this possible. Love to all developers and community to support them ❤❤❤

Ngl, maybe I'm like 1 in 10 people that are like this, but I LOVE the 3D effect in games. It's so cool.

"What does it add other than an OLED screen" Uh, Its a bit lighter in weight, has a 90hz refresh rate compared to the lcds 60, It has up to double the battery depending on the game, it has more storage, it has better speakers, runs cooler and it has higher quality haptics. The oled is just the cherry on top (and looks amazing), and all for only an extra 130.

You should put the emulators on the 3ds not in twilight, and theres an app to run gba games nativley in ds mode i forgot what it was called but its better than emulating gba games

I would get a 2ds xl literally just to play ds games and 3ds stuff, emulating those consoles sucks

My tamodachi life islanders have been waiting at the docs for a while now. No one is playing, so they have nowhere to go.

I wish I could pokemon battle and exchange with my friends without a subscription on Switch again (pokemon with no mega is a no for me so never played since sun/moon). Matter of fact, some youngsters that cannot work and won't get gifted nintendo online sub by their parents.
