Not having a volume button is a killer for me :/

I have both and i actually prefer the sound of gen 1.

Too much pressure builds up that gives me a headache when using the Pros. Just picked up the new 4 and it is super comfortable now.

At the time you you made this video, did your AirPods 4 have the latest 7A304 Firmware? I initially had older Firmware, when i get Airpods 4 today, but it updated to a newer one pretty soon when I was charging my headphones

I’ve seen a trend for airpods. When a new product got launched works great so that more people will buy it then when they move closer to next release they decrease a little bit from the anc quality to make the new product to seem amazing and get more sales. When iPhones were release there were many times when they promoted the great processor improvements with ai and when iPhone 16 has been released we’ve found out that the earlier iPhone does not support apple intelligence. There is too much marketing and less improvements. In the end only the margins count. Not to say that they have a general product release then european customers find by their own that some features are supported just for US.

I am watching this on my iPhone 16 pro max. I traded in my iPhone 13 and it's so much better

Why’d they get rid of the rubber tips? I can’t stand the feel of the classic ear buds, I can’t wear my AirPod pro 2 all day long without hurting my ears. Seems like a downgrade

I have sc liberty 4 nc and qcy melobuds pro i can say easily that earfun air 2nc is better and louder when it comes to sound anc transparency i havent tried it yet got my ef air 2 yesterday evening so i just adjusted my eq on app and music player. I can say that i was in heaven, got the bas that i wanted even got the clear sound together. I tried to crank the bas all the way up to see if there was any distortion and i didn't hear any but the bas took over and closed out the higher frequency's. So i found my perfect setup for bas and clarity. I can say it's better than sc liberty 4 nc.

Are the AirPods 4 louder than the 3? I find that the 3 have a weak volume level and lose some bass and details at 80%-100% volume.

Is the ANC automatically activated when you put them in your ears? If so, is there a way to switch it from automatic to manual?

Comparing the ANC of the Airpods 4 to that of the Airpods Pro 2 may seem unfair, but at least it will extinguish the propaganda of Apple's 🍏 minions who were trying to make people believe that the ANC of these Airpod 4 is comparable to that of earbud with plug, thank you Aaron 🙏🏽 On the other hand, the microphones of the Airpods 4 are very good. The fact that Airpods 4 fit like the classic Airpods 1/2 gen is the best news for me. Having 50% of the noise cancellation of Airpods Pro 2, a great microphone + good sound = Airpods 4 winner in my book

I have the AirPods 3 and the fit is perfect plus I like that I can use MagSafe and I have lost them and the Find My feature works perfectly. I’m satisfied. I don’t know if the 4’s will fit me and not willing to take the chance. Tried the Pros and returned them due to fit and I personally don’t like silicone plugging up my ears.

I am one of the few in here that actually prefer the sound of the AP 4 ANC over the 2nd gen. APP. Different strokes for different folks is what I say. I have a set coming to me in a day or two. I just hope the fit works for me.

AirPods 4 do not feature MagSafe charging, due to the case being so small. However, they do support lossless audio when paired with Vision Pro.

as far as sound, air pods pro 2 blow the 4 away a bit cleaner clearer IMO
