WEBN was the only news team that got it right at the time. News Brothers Craig Kopp and Rick Bird were the only ones who reported what actually happened. And this is one of the few current documentaries that gets it right now. And yes, I was there, in the middle of that crowd. What may have saved my life and the life of my companion was that we realized that we just needed to move backwards, out of the crowd, and wait in the back until the crush was over.

I still have the newspapers: Cincinnati Post/ Enquirer from the day after. I was only 13 & couldn't get a ride. Had no ticket but figured I would get in anyway. A woman I knew got trampled to d*ath that night: Connie Burns (RIP). Seen many of concerts there but I thank God I missed this one! My sincere condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives on that unfortunate fateful night.
