This is probably the most recognizable song of the 90s that people don't know the name of!

I am the biggest nirvana fan and this was the best song of the 90s and a go to for me singing karaoke . This is my favorite 90s alternative song.

This song... forever. And this acoustic version is near-flawless.

I haven't heard these guys for a long time but in the 90s' they rocked my Ford 4x4. With dark hair and soft skin pretty cool lytics ....so help me Jesus.. Do you wanna be my Angel.

I was there for this set! Absolutely amazing sound and the nicest guys. Thank you to the Toadies, WEBN, and of course Shroom for the opportunity. Two of the best performances I have witnessed.

These guys COULD HAVE BEEN the next big thing... this album was phenomenal. They blew it by waiting and wasting... A killer follow up could have blasted them into 90's amazingness.

I was thinking about this, and maybe it's that two of their best (imo) songs are pretty dark in subject matter. Cause otherwise I have no idea why they weren't more well known. Rubberneck was solid. But you're probably on to something.

I had looked into this...the problem was that "Tyler" and "Possum Kingdom", to top songs on the album, were not anywhere on the Lyrics. So while it got radio play, lots of peeps couldn't find who they were. Lost opportunities so to speak.

This band was f 'Ing badass live. So sad they never exploded on the national scene. W're very big in multiple parts of Texas. So much energy coming out of those lungs

They were big enough for heavy rotation on Mtv and hosted the MTV show 120 minutes..I think y'all are underestimating how big the Toadies were..Their record label screwed them and they had to wait 5 years to release there second album Hell below stars above..They toured the world with Rubberneck..they were pretty damn big.

My first question for you (if we happened to be in line at a food truck) is are we related? Next would be ‘what are you going to order?’ There is a third question. Which was actually the first question. This is unquestionably (ha!) a bit of a dark song to say the least. I can listen to it endlessly and enjoy it every time. Do you love and appreciate this tune (every time you play it) as much as we do?

who remembers seeing the toadies every other weekend at Madhatters across from All Saints hospital , when they were a 5 piece ..that other chick and the dude withthe super dork status back turned hat...lol i used to see them all over Benbrook and Westside ft worth... CHAD GRATTAN is dean on right about them ,,, they could have been huge but they did nothing with it..still one of my favorite bands i always felt marks drumming was better than vinnie pauls ..

this album was phenominal... I guess there success was so fast and the prospect of following up with the 2nd album jinx might of caused them to just say.... hey we weren't expecting this much success of going platinum why fuck it up leave on a high note ...... though years passed and the scene faded..... guess we'll never know now what they had to offer rock with a string of albums.... but this one was awesome.... i played it over and over .... im looking to investing some time into those later year releases at some point ..... but at 50 im a little less committed to the music scene .... sadly....
