Great video! The basketball strength and conditioning pre-game routine is truly effective and powerful. For your next video, how about sharing more sports preparation or strength-building tips? That would be awesome to watch!

Help me get on this team. I’m a free agent. I can do anything. I’m a point guard. If you need me to be the score I can do it. If you need me to be the set up, man I can do it and I can play lockdown defense, so there’s no reason to not play me at all. You can find somewhere for something for me to do.

Great video! Do you use catapult for measuring running velocities and sprints? If so how do incorporate this data into your physical trainings and maybe give extra speed/conditioning work on top of team practice?
@B4LR.
@B4LR. 25 күн бұрын
Not in our team budget right now. Right now I’m focused on developing my coaching eye and use player’s RPE as a measuring tool. Additional data can definitely help tho (if you can interpret)!

I love this and am hoping to start implementing some of these for my under 16 team. Please do a video on younger athletes and how to get them game ready with about ten minutes of warmup before the game.
@B4LR.
@B4LR. Ай бұрын
The warm up will be shorter. Probably 30-45 minutes max. But feel free to use some core/isometrics or plyo work from the video. Just make sure you don’t major in the minors and leave no time for the basketball part…

Elite warmups man I Love it. I coach 7th graders, and I’m gonna introduce some of this to them, “basketball specific warmups” is something I havent done to much of. I typically have them do high knees and buttkicks, that sorta dynamic movement but never this, thankyou👍🏼
@B4LR.
@B4LR. Ай бұрын
Appreciate it. Just understand that 7th graders probably need maximum 30 minutes warm in total. This includes layup lines, shooting etc. But no harm done if you take 2-3 of these drills and do it before the on court stuff!

That's 🔥. Use a similar approach. I like to include on the pre habs some of those more specific exercises for bigs and smalls. And them I'll go to the general warm up with everybody. Normally pre hab + general warm up its 15 min max. Really liked the way you do it. Keep going
