Thanks! Well it really depends on your motivation / consistency with your practice. We have been playing on and off for about 15(ish) years. But with enough time and motivation you could get good results in only a few months I’m sure

The guitar is made to play songs like these. This riff is so addictive that it is playing in my head on loop for a week. Particularly the part from 0:53. Hearing that, I just melt like a ice on hot surface.

This is the reason why I believe Opeth is the greatest metal band of all time - Mikael's ability as a composer is beyond amazing - he is in a a league of his own. Other amazing composers in the "rock" field who I feel are very special: Frank Zappa, Tim Smith (Cardiacs), Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull), Robert Fripp (King Crimson), Hoest (Taake)....all incredible composers along with Mikael. Amazing work here!
