love the videos! wondering if you ever made a custom brick hexagon for your catan build? would love to see it
@Warehouse1819 күн бұрын
Thank you very much for your compliment! I never did make a brick hex, but it is something I would like to revisit in the future, as I feel I’ve come a long way and can implement many of the skills I’ve learned to make far better pieces than the ones I have previously made. So we shall see. After the holidays I’d like to get back into many projects I have on my list.

This is great. How do you like how the magnets hold the lid closed? Recently started learning some woodworking and figured a fun first project would be something similar for my Aragorn deck.
@Warehouse1811 ай бұрын
Thank you. Honestly love it, it has more than enough clamping force, and if you don’t like how much there is it’s very easy to adjust by adding more while building. If I was to do it again maybe add a finger groove on the lid to make it easier to open, but honestly it’s not a big deal.

You really should be careful when loading the primer into the b.case... your hand was covering the end of the b.shell case... respect weapons or you will get bit... peace...
@Warehouse1811 ай бұрын
Thanks for the input, I have all the respect in the world for the weapons, but I also understand how they work. Yeah sure, in the very unlikely scenario that me pushing a primer in, it goes off, worst thing that’s gonna happen is I’ll hear a loud pop and I might have some ash on my finger. The primer alone is not powerful, and it’s certainly not blowing off any digits, but thanks for your concern.

Great result, the tray looks beautiful. I am an amateur in woodworking with only basic tools but I will definitely tackle this project too. :) How thick is your border? Looks like 0,5 cm / about 0,2 inch
@Warehouse18 Жыл бұрын
Thank you! If I remember correctly the pieces I used were 1/8 inch
@chen-gongfu Жыл бұрын
@@Warehouse18 thank you for your answer! That's pretty thin but I love the look of these finer borders. I only got beech wood with a thickness of 1cm / 0,39 inch in our local store, so I gotta thin it a bit down to at least 0,19 inch (sorry for the weird measurements, I'm only familiar with metric system :D)
@Warehouse18 Жыл бұрын
If I did it again I’d do it thicker, so your beech might be ok if you like the look. I may have used 1/4 of an inch pieces. And don’t worry about using the metric system, you were kind enough to do the conversions for me lol.
