I think i understand now. After the swimming incident she said she wanted to know everything about them. That contributed to her stalker-like attributes. She didn’t mean it like that though, but everyone in the fandom forgot about that episode telling of how her stalking of adrien came to be. So after she knew everything about Adrien it was just a matter of executing talking to him and asking him out, which she couldn’t really do because she was shy. That was why the show was dragged out so long because she needed to know more about him to be completely sure and also she was just shy. Summary: she was stalking Adrien and the show was dragging out so long because of her PTSD of the swimming incident
