Adrien from Season 1-4: Mainly shows his inner Chat Noir to Marinette, gets nervous around her during many interactions, winks at her, smiles at her in way more than a 'friendly' way, is overjoyed to see her, immediately turns to Marinette to protect her, instead of running away to transform (many times, if Marinette doesn't fall by herself, Adrien jumps on her), sometimes even stalks her (like she does to him)... and yet has the audacity to call Marinette '(just) a (very good) friend'. Adrien in Season 5: Finally admits that he's actually in love with Marinette (we all know he always was, but he finally confessed). That was the development we needed!
