Thinking bout buying this gas trimmer from their main site online in the next year or 2, really like these 2 stroke trimmers, hopefully it will last longer than my current trimmer that’s has starting issues

For the last 18 months I've not let the lawn crew edge or use a weed eater in my back yard. kzbin.infoUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG I didn't like the fact that they just kept cutting the edge of the lawn further and further from the rock lining the flower beds and leaving bare ground. And the grass was trimmed or scalped several feet around trees, etc. It was a constant battle with them so I told them to just mow and no trimming. I have Zoysia grass so it grows pretty slow. Obviously after a while it could use some trimming. I'm in my 80's so I can't do much of it myself.Finally I decided that if I could find a lightweight battery powered trimmer I might be able to do some light trimming. I decided to buy the LST201 20V trimmer. And it works great for my needs. I have back yard with about 150' of flower beds and several trees to be trimmed. I can lightly trim the whole yard with a single charge! The grass I trimmed was only a few inches high but the trimmer was more powerful than I expected.

Did you mix 2 stroke oil in the fuel like your supposed to ? That fuel looked clear. Should have a 40:1 2stroke OP and fuel mixture for optimal performance or it will just break after a few uses.

What's wrong with this thing? I have a McCulloch leaf blower with maybe the same 25cc engine but that thing starts after 2 pulls.

I have the leaf blower it's a great engine on it I've tried this model of strimmer found it to be a bit hit n miss it's ok for small garden

Hello, tank you. In this field in second gear, to finish and review in third gear.The last part on vid running on third gear because the rain arrived. The depth is not exactly how long it is, it does not go to the depth limit so as not to damage the tool so much, because of rocks and stones.

Hi, yes 540 pto and first gear, it's boring at first, but it works better, on a small site you can waste more time.

I agree , the goal is to harvest not to work fast. Do you know and What do you think about a B1220 for gardening and the do-it yourself around the house (ploughing , tiller , snow ploughing , eventually little loader , trailer) . I suppose the power would be just enough but it's not a Professional use and the time needed is not a determinant factor. I can see in your vids that you do a very large range of jobs with this machine of 18 HP, and the 12 hp is very less expensive in France compared tou the 16 and 18 hp (half the price of a 1820). It's the price of a big mono-axle and there is a lot of implements available . The local dealer says he can mount a CX1 loader , of course not to do building works but use it like a wheelbarrow. If have an advice I would be pleased to know it.

if it is for domestic use it may be worth it but I think it runs out of power, since the 18 hp is often made less of something more power, especially when it comes to clearing large grass. Also the 1220 is permanent 4x4 and not You can drive on the road, you do not have permission to cycle by public roads, it depends on the use you are going to give, maybe you are interested in a second hand tractor, with a little more power for the price of the new 1220. a greeting
