As for people's comments about what you do, as most commenters here have said, if you are sincere, it doesn't matter what people say. What matters is what Allah SWT Thinks of what you do. Allah SWT Judges our actions from our intentions. If your intentions are sincere, true & only for Allah SWT, then take comfort in the knowledge that Allah SWT Is All-Seeing, All-Knowing of everything, hidden or out in the open, including our inner-most thoughts & intentions & Allah SWT Will Reward you accordingly. What we should do is FOCUS on Allah SWT in everything that we do, say, think, feel such that we remind ourselves that we wish only to PLEASE ALLAH SWT in everything we do, say, think & feel, NOT to please people. With every breath we take, every fibre of our being, we submit to Allah SWT & His Decree & we seek only to PLEASE ALLAH SWT. Nothing else. Not for adulation or recognition by people. Insha Allah you will find sakinah or tranquility & peace despite the negativity that may exist around you because we can't control what people do or say & there will always be people who don't like or agree with us & people who spread negativity. That's Allah SWT's Test for us. 😊
