How loud is it through the cab?
@cavanray532721 күн бұрын
what a difference the cab and speaker make. The bandit with the t.dynamics set to 20% (which is 16w, close enough) is much warmer, beefier, and more full sounding. Especially with a speaker swap.

I just got a second hand yamaha pacifica and peavey rage 158 (£70 for it all - absolute bargain) I'm a total novice, so thanks to your video I've managed to get it sounding right! Cheers

Just found your channel. Love this content -will you roll out MoP and AJfA? 🙏

The beginning part on solo 2 for The Four Horsemen definitely has that Mustaine vibe to it. But I truly think Kirk made the solos better and refined compared to Dave’s full solos. And it was Johnny Z who insisted that Kirk should play atleast the beginning parts to Dave’s original solos but he can make them into his own solos after playing the beginning parts

This is so funny man. I'm always asking everyone to join my band. No one says yes except my 2 cats. We're called Wilde Kitten. Great job getting the best out of this little amp. I'm a champion of small amps. Mostly cause thats what I've had to use. And I usually have to be low volume. thanks for the info.

I do remember the clean and dirt on the lead channel being nice on the express 12 that I borrowed for like 2 years. Kinda interested in buying one of these. I wanna offer 10usd to a dude lol

Theyre both sounding impressive to me, but the Liquifier has just a bit more attack to my ears, plus it matches the pole piece look of the super distortion in my bridge so my choice is simple. Thanks for demoing these and for the awesome playing.
@Arikxul4 ай бұрын
I too have a super d in the bridge, how do you like the liquifier?
@springbloom59406 ай бұрын
This maybe true for your amp, but whats mote important is all of these amps are a little different. They all have a 'sweet spot' that you find by zoroing all the comtrols and one at a time running them min to max until you find about a 25% range where the tone/volume changes the most. Set all your controls in the sweet spot and work from there, not trying to make it do something it doesn't want to.

i recently tried this amp again, was my first amp when i first started playing guitar. Boost the lead channel with a boss sd-1 and it sounds great for metal

They sound nearly identical, but the paf's are slightly more "musical". Most noticable at 6:40 and 10:01, for me anyway.

I'll say this - it's always gonna suck to learn something new in some kind of way. That being stated, the formal method of tabs is too stretched out and slow moving, it throws me off. This is harder in a way, but it's better because I can grasp more of what's going on more of the time. I have a fuller picture.

do you still use these pickups? I cant think of anything better than the dc rm combo tbh. Petrucci and DiMarzio worked on how many pickups together? These pickups are the results of over 20 years of experimentation and upgrades.
