I would but I'm currently trying to find a game I can make content for, chivalry2 is dieing and nmrih2 is not ready. Trying to jump on a hype train

@@Nuggz1 yea, it’s basic Warfare 101. Sure there were tons of casualties throughout all of the wars and battles but minimizing casualties was the most important factor.

Understandable, I still think longswords not amazing but the glaive can probably go down to b or c

It can be a crutch, like the heavy mace. But there is no denying it's proficiency, it can compete at the tournament level

If you see me in a duel server or TO there is a very good chance you will either be on stream or in a video

The clips are new, I just don't use the longsword often and use the Messer alot. All the gameplay was recorded in one 4 hour session just for this video. So I'm definitely not playing at my best in every duel.

It's gonna be tough, most 1 handers have a place in duels tbh.

It does a lot of damage and it's easy to switch between drag and accel, and hard to counter. All you need against most players

@@RetentionLedGrowth heavy mace and battle axe is S tier because they’re the most meta weapons for duels, long sword C tier, messer B tier, messer was once S tier before the turncap and release nerfs

It's good, but the current meta is still a stamina war, which the long sword loses. Bad pressure and on knight so low stam already. But it does have style.

It was hard for me to place between A and B so it could probably go in A. It doesn't do the damage of the Dane and Knight has less stam than Vanguard. I guess it depends on the match up tho.

Make sure to try the worst weapons too, they are useful to learn

I think I am going to put katars in the 1 handed list because they are like fists, and they are on ambusher. They might take 2 hands but they play in a unique way.

Thanks the one thing that held back the pole axe is the big chance of missing a slash and then getting punished due to the short range. It's very good otherwise

Longsword actually has a few things going for it: 1. It's has no weaknesses in terms of overall stuff (which is pretty much how it was designed) 2. It was some great tricks and works really well with attack cancels and stab to alt stab 3. It has one of the most usable special attacks out there because it's extremely fast and does good damage and stam damage 4. Slash/stab feint to kick catches a lot of people off guard especially after a long counter war or bombardment of accels 5. It's overhead is deceptively fast, faster than both the stab and the slash. It's also really good for triple or more feints since you can just wait for the opponent to screw up unless they have one of the faster one handers. 6. Finally, you can just bully a lot of one hander users if you just keep keep comboing while maintaining distance.

The worst thing is when you meet a shooter who knows something about fencing, and he managed to get a sword/axe. That's the case when you risk crying into your pillow for the rest of your life. But it's one of the funniest weapons in the pub, especially with prehistoric leather.
