Very informative. The music is intensely distracting and annoying though, personally. There's a big movement of music free videos, they are cool.

Great info! It would be easier to understand if your speech were mixed louder than the background music.

To bad I live about 8 hours drive away from the beach 🏝️ no board either 😂 always wanted to surf 🏄‍♀️ closest thing I have here is skateboarding 🛹 and snowboarding 🏂. Skateboarding is cheaper than snowboarding 🏂 fortunately but not many parks.

Rules? Basically, some politeness and right of way, but in general the biggest guy will do what ever he wants and catch any wave, priority or not. Use your head in the line up is a good rule, cause, there are no rules.

I'd call it three foot average on this surf you're on.

I’ve definitely heard the opposite advise and that a fish is far more difficult and not for a beginner

If you avoid the wiggle and other bad habits that sometimes can come with surfskating it is perfect for surf progression.

As a clueless non-surfer, I’d always assumed those abs were a result OF surfing. Not FOR surfing. All surfers do these?

I nearly always notice that surfers initially turn frontside on to a wave and then turn backside, and keep repeating the same pattern. It's not often when I notice the opposite - turning backside on a wave and then following with a frontside turn. Is there a reason for that? Does it depend on the type of wave?
