You don't need hot water to dip the nock end of the bolt into it. You can used compressed air. Put the 1/8" rod into the arrow shaft, turn the bolt upside down and turn the compress air can upside down and press the spray nozzle of the compressed air can so that it releases cold air from it. The cold air coming from the compress can will cause the glue on the arrow shaft to allow you bang with a hammer the rod and it will push out the nock out of the shaft. The most important step is turning the compressed air can upside down when you start spraying. it caused the compress air can to get really cold and the air will freeze on the vanes of the bolt. You should wait about a minute to start banging the rod. I did 6 shafts in about 5 minutes, doing it the way I described. Good Luck

Use Compressed Air Duster spray for computers. Spray it in the end and freeze the insert and then knock it out. No need for hot water.

Freezing with electronic compressed gas duster works without a hammer. The weight of the 1/8 x 26 rod falling on the frozen insert works all by itself.

Do you have a link to that exact kit in this video? I have the same bolts and experience the same issue with the lighted nock falling out. I almost lost one last night but luckily found it next to my Titan M1 after I lowered it from my treestand

After using these in the field, any concerns that 16" might be too short? Also, have you tried using with an aider and if so, do the sticks feel like they will hold your weight? Thanks and nice video.

They work fine for me along with aider to get to 18 to 20 feet. Plenty high enough for me.

Thanks for sharing. I'm glad they changed their strap system. I reviewed them about six years ago and told them I couldn't use them in PA where I lived because of how much they ripped through the bark. I recommended rubber caps but hopefully they modified it enough to not tear up the bark. God bless you out there.
