Just found your channel. Glad I'm here in the early stages of your wild camping journey. Ive been wild camping for 20 years mainly in Scotland but a few times in England too. Looks like a fab spot for camping. I see someone else has commented about making fires. I use a bucket bbq for fire and cooking or if im luxury wild camping which is when the car is nearby i take the camping stove. Its nice to make a cup of tea on waking 🥰 The biggest tool you can have in your kit is the ability to adapt.

Hi. Why didn't you camp inside the castle?
@Roam.Outdoors15 күн бұрын
Hello, thank you for watching! It's an historic site and we thought it would be best to camp just outside the walls in case there may be an accident with the fire and damaged caused to the historic site! Not that we've ever damaged any camp site before, we thought it's just best to be safe than sorry!

My first time watching you guys, I really enjoyed it. What a place, I can imagine just how creepy it must've been at night. Ross you stuffed up big time forgetting to bring an Aztec death whistle. That would've been mega lol.😂❤

Hi Guys, absolutely brilliant, it's just great to get out on a camp with your mates. I would not have been going in to that castle at night either. I know there is nothing there but your mind plays tricks on you. Haha All the best guys Dave

Hi Dave! Totally agree, out in nature with your mates, no screens around is just perfect! Yeah it is horrible as I agree, there’s probably nothing there but your mind does play tricks on you😂 thank you Dave, have a great week!

It's a great bothy in a fantastic location isn't it, I've enjoyed my stays there. It's a shame that people are still leaving it in a mess, and also leaving food which is attracting rats and mice. Thanks for the shout out, it's much appreciated. All the best, Ryan.
@Roam.Outdoors22 күн бұрын
Yes the place is absolutely stunning! Like you said it’s a shame the way a lot of people leave it. Judging from the log book and the waste there, I think a lot of people go there and party which is a shame. No problem at all! Love your content. All the best Ryan and have a merry Christmas.
