Is there a beginner guitar that you could recommend for this type of music please? Almost every shop is full of rock guitars 😶. Or at least acoustic / electro acoustic guitars with metal strings. I've never seen any nylon string guitars.

That's a difficult question for me - I have a luthier guitar. But what I tried is: Camps Guitars - very good, a little bit expensive. Also Cordoba guitars are good. You can check also Alhambra guitars. I guess they start about 500$ but you have to check the prices. I hope that helps! Greetings! Mateo

Do i need to have this kind of guitar to do this, or will it work on an electro acoustic with a sort of hollow body? I wanted to be able to play more than one genre of music 🤷🏾 and also needed something easier to learn on. But i really like that Spanish guitar sound. 😅
@ProFLAMENCO
@ProFLAMENCO Ай бұрын
Hello! Thanks for your comment! It’s a more complex question that it’s seems to be. Apparently you are able to play this on an electro acoustic for sure - the best way with fingerpicking without nail or with a little bit of nail. But the thing is about the color, tone and sound of the guitar. To sound like in the original version (Cancion Del Mariachi) you have to have a classical guitar with nylon strings, but you don’t have to copy the original one. You can figure out something on your own. So it depends. But if you want to study flamenco music, then you should invest in classical/flamenco guitar with nylon strings. I hope that my answer helps! Greetings! Mateo

@@TheBrankko Thanks for your comment! Try to look in the internet for the phrase “ son de mariachi “ it’s a sub genre of traditional music performed by Mariachis and it is combined as rhythm 3/4 or 6/8. The rhythm in Cancion Del Mariachi is derived from this style. But maybe somebody will add something to my message and shed some new light on it! Greetings!

Hello ProFlamenco, Just been watching your lesson on the Bulerias falseta by Moraito ChicaI .. Excellent learning video I must say.! Now I just started to try and learn to play "El Cana del Moro" by Moraito, which he plays here via this link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJnYoK1tdtuKfpI The Bulerias falseta that you demonstrate is one of about five falsetas that he plays on this piece. He plays it at the time 2:02 on the video. There is one falseta that I cannot really see how he plays and i just wondered could you advise on this please ie provide a tab that is actually correct ? On the video link I gave you, he plays this falseta at the time 1:04 to 1:18 on the video, and it consists of a complicated alzapua . I just cannot see how he does it and some tabs I have found are just wrong.. All the other falsetas I have managed to find somewhere on the web. Thanks for your time. Hamish McCreight

@@hamishmccreight6639 hello! Thank you very much for your comment, kind words towards my video and your question! Well, I know this recording by Moraito - excellent performance. The falseta that you mentioned in the time frame is a little bit difficult but quite logical and coherent. Please try to slower the speed on the video and catch just the bass strings - the melody is there! Index finger in the right hand makes only the accompaniment. I will try to make a lesson on this in some time when I will be more free. I plan to comeback for recording of my lessons. I wish you good luck with that and I’m pretty sure that you will figure this out!! Greetings! Mateo

Question! Ive pretty much implanted the whole thing in my hands, when this is to be all played together should it be played faster? The orignal song plays at a higher speed, is this one to be played in the same manner? Or, is their another variation for those who want to play the quicker version. Thanks!

@@diegomenchititio hi! Thank you very much for your question! This is a tutorial that shows many things in slower speed. Of course, the song should be played at original speed or at least 0,9 x speed of the original in order to maintain the original character. Greetings! Mateo
