Thanks for your comment! Sorry for a delay in my response! Yes, you're right... In order to get a taste of real flamenco culture and music you have to visit southern Spain... Greetings!

thank you for this wonderful lesson ! there are people who say that the accompaniment of singers and dancers helps to be a good flamenco composer, what is the logic of this idea?
@ProFLAMENCO2 жыл бұрын
Hello! Thanks for your comment! Let’s analyze these words that some people say. Maybe they mean that the melody that singers are singing is derived from the traditional and traditional influences. The guitarist sometimes make quotations of these Melodies in their own compositions or they start some phrase of composition thinking about some traditional melody that was sang by the singers. Maybe similar things apply to the influence of dancers - regarding the rhythmical parts. These are only some speculations that may help to resolve your question. Please also remember that the traditional flamenco is singing, dancing, and playing the guitar. These 3 things influence each other and combine into a great mystery of art. Greetings!

hi,i respond if i, m not cheeky...you get good because you have to make music for them to dance and to interpretate...and you give to the singer the base on wich he will perform...you have to make him enter your world and at the same time you have to modulate while he's expressing..so that it becomes a real language between the musician and the singer or the dancers...they depend on you but you should be at their service and understand when to give power or when to make them dream...

how to compose flamenco on piano or daw :(
@ProFLAMENCO2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment and sorry for late response! To be honest, on piano it is quite similar. First of all you have to know the rhythms, different palos, and acquire knowledge about flamenco. But on the other hand, piano is still not an instrument that is strictly intended for flamenco music. It is played often in flamenco groups/concerts as an additional instrument. I invite you to listen for example Tomatito together with Chick Corea! You will hear than a flamenco character in Chick's piano. In daw the situation is more difficult but I've heard about different plugins with flamenco guitar, palmas, cajon etc. Greetings!

Which model flamenco guitar you use?
@ProFLAMENCO2 жыл бұрын
Hello! Thank you for your watching and question and apologize for my late response! I have been on short holidays and I had a little break! I use a hybrid flamenco - classical guitar by Anders Eliasson (A luthier who used to live in Grenada) - spruce guitar, build year: 2008. I also use in my videos a flamenco guitar by Hermanos Sanchez López, which I borrowed from my friend. I will be back with my videos this month! If you have any more questions, always ask! Greetings!

you forget an essential thing .that you tell it's about "fast food " flamenco .Flamenco is of course technique but first is culture and duende .without it's sound mecanic .like battery raised chiken
@ProFLAMENCO2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thanks for the comment! You’re absolutely right! I tried to explain this in Advice number 2 when I said that the great flamenco musicians grew up with flamenco tradition and got to know the rhythms and palos very early. But yes.. maybe there is a lack of the information that flamenco is first of all the culture, history, way to live your life, society etc. In order to get the grasp on it you have to experience it on your own. Greetings and thank you for your comment with an essential reminder!
