What you might have stated that in order for the software to read anything from the CyberPower battery backup is to: 1st, connect the provided USB cable from the battery backup to the PC. Instructional videos should always include all steps, do not skip steps.

Funny I commented 8yr ago. And now I’m still watching your vid still relevant. Your vid is the only one as far as I can tell that puts the fans in this orientation in my book the preferred orientation push push instead of pul. Sum have complained that pull might resonate if you put fans to close to each other

I remember doing this CPU cooler when I built my system....this is literally the worst designed cooler ever. Ended up buying a Noctua later - not only is it infinitely better cooling, but the install was ridiculously easy. I see this cooler being recommended in 2023 even - DO NOT BUY IT. There are so many better options even if you don't have a Noctua budget. I've seen people literally break their motherboard trying to install this cooler. It's such a POS and should not even be acknowledged as an option.

It can't be seen in the video that the back plate was still on (it was) before you attached the additional mounting plate, also you can remove fan before mounting and attach it after the addition of RAM so adding ram absolutely should not be a problem.

Thx for keeping this up all these years! Got this in 2013 & dug it out cause now I want to b a utuber. Trying to decide if this is better or worse than a 2023 kids camera for $50 and so far, this seems to better quality. So, I will use it to start off my utube. Thx for ur sense of humor & love the cat :)

How is your Enermax LiqTech 240 cooler working these days?? I bought one of these back about the same time this video was created (March 2015), and it has run almost non stop since then. Now, March 2022, I noticed my PC intermittently locking up which it never did, and I also noticed that the fans either ran idle speed or almost full blast when doing very light work or watching youtube videos. When viewing the temps on the core's and block, I found that under a heavy load, the temp was rising up near and some cases over 200 F which is not good. At one point, I was doing a video conversion on handbrake, and yeah, the system just froze up. Funny that the fans were running full blast, but very little to any heat coming out of them. After watching others that have these AIO coolers as well as other brands, I discovered that these things tend to lose coolant over time and also get crud in them that blocks up the micro fins on the inside of the pump copper cooling plate which blocks the flow of coolant through the pump . So, for now, I installed the stock Intel fan cooler and things are much better. Now I have to find some new coolant for this unit. Since it has an Aluminum Radiator and the Copper Plate, I have to be careful about using certain coolants as to not cause a metal corrosion problem. One video suggested to use the Mayham X1 Eco coolant as it had no glycol in it, but did contain antibacterial, anti fungal and anti corrosion additives, so I may give that a shot as it is supposed to work with aluminum radiators as well. Just curious how yours is performing and if you have checked your temps lately if you are still using this Enermax Liquid Cooler 240 unit.
