I had to laugh because so many times, when I’ve needed a restroom, I’ve stopped for a coffee, used the restroom, left the cafe, and then needed a restroom again within an hour, thanks to the coffee. lol. Am going to be in Barcelona for 8 days & have found your videos to be so helpful! I really appreciate you taking the time to go into so much detail. I do have a few questions: -Do I buy a zone 1 or zone 2 card for La Floresta station (it looks like it is 2C on the map) ? -If we are taking a bus from La Floresta, how would I know which zone that would count as? I've googled this extensively & can't figure it out. -Last, if at a minimum, I plan to go into Barcelona every day & back plus go to the airport on my final day, would it make more sense to get a T-Usual card vs the T-Casual? I really haven't seen anyone go into much detail on the T-Usual.

Thank you for the explanation. Just to confirm: we can each still purchase a T-usual card at the machines and these will work on the airport train to Barcelona; you still can not load a T-usual onto the Mobilitat card.

Love your work Mate. Your videos really help us with planning our travels. A heads up - it looks like the “Hospital de la Caridad” and the “Archivo de Indias” are closed to visitors. The Alcazar and the Plaza are very special things to see. We found that the huge volume of tourist were no issue, except at the cathedral where there was lots of groups of approx 50 people per pack. Please keep up the great channel.

Hi, I am travelling to Spain in September. We want to use trains to travel around parts of Spain. How far in advance do we need to purchase the tickets? Is it possible to buy them a day or two before, or should we be booking them online weeks in advance for that time of the year? Haha - another great one. Yes this video certainly meets your promise of practical information. Although you are native you certainly have a way of knowing what someone not native needs to know. The only videos on your channel that I have not found useful yet are simply the destinations we are not going to yet. There is an app for phones called 'Flush' - we'll see how that works. Honestly this is not that different than here in America with one exception - we use gas (petrol) service station bathrooms quite often. This may be true in rural Spain as well but these are common even in cities especially in the west given the reliance on private auto vs public transportation.

The W Hotel does not have the best location but it offers ultimate luxury

Madrid stinks as if it never had any toilet.

I used the public toilet (like the one in the thumbnail) just outside the Spanish Air Force Headquarters in Moncloa. That was a near death experience, they were so bad.....

Big malls , Mcdonald’s and big cafes. Very few Public toilets on the street.
