The best videos about tourism in Spain, weekly, are here: accurate, useful and current information, spectacular photography, incredible maps, fantastic animations and, of course, tips that we won't find anywhere on the planet. I loved the video!

Very helpful overview. Thank you for this and all your videos! Did the bus tour you took have an audio guide or a live tour guide? I prefer a live guide, but I believe the only company that offers them has a more limited route. So it's a trade off.

Thank you, there is a recorded audioguide.

Hola Tony, another great vid! Was wondering how long does it take to do a complete loop. Thanks!

Thank you, it is hard to answer and it is entirely dependent on the state of transit in Madrid, the bus goes through some avenues with very heavy traffic. Calculate between 90 minutes and 3 hours.

My primary source of travel information in Europe. When buying the Hop and Off tickets on line, do the 24 hours ticket start from the time you use the tickets for the first time or are they dated? Thanks for your hard work
@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal2 ай бұрын
Hello, time starts counting the first time you board a bus and your voucher is exchanged for a ticket and becomes active. All the best!

Noooooooo, Tony I love your channel. Sorry to be opinionated about this, but I hate the hop on hop off buses. It is all what it is wrong about mass tourism. The tourist disconnected from the experience looking from above. Adding to the congestion. They all look the same in all cities without any character. For people that don't take the minimum interest not even to study how to get around a city. Should I go on? Anyhow, your channel is an inspiration for traveling, and I will not taking against you! 😀 It really help me a lot in my recent trip to Portugal and Galicia! Happy Travels.

Could not disagree more! As a family it was an easy and convenient way to see the sites. Get a lay of the land first day. Easy to access sites that may be 2 metro changes away which you don’t want to do with kids. We used in Barcelona and Paris and had no regrets. May even do Barcelona one again!

Hi Walter, you are entitled to your own opinion, we also have ours. In the work we do, we try to cater for as wide as sample of travelers as possible. What is good for some might not be good for others. If you've never travelled with someone with mobility issues, you might not appreciate how convenient the tourist buses are. Likewise, many people want to get a general overview of the city before they get more specific. Tourist buses have been around forever and, to be honest, their contribution to traffic congestion is highly insignificant. Thank you for your words and for sharing your opinion.

Yes, we do appreciate the important service the tourist bus provides for those seeking a first contact with the city.

@@JezyKrat Indeed. We used it a lot in Patis and it is a fantastic way to explore. @walternyc nothing is stopping you from getting off, walking and exploring/visiting a lot then hopping back on it to return to your starting point.
