Hahaha we are getting there. The truth is it isn't finished but they haven't even gotten close to the parts we haven't finished. Next step is to start dividing it up because they definitely need to be moved around. Maybe next season :)

@@joyonthelandwithrufus8115 I would strongly encourage you to look at portable electric for your paddock divisions. So much easier to maintain and no wasted grass! Every inch of your pasture can get animal impact and you can change your paddock size to adapt to changing flock size or season.

Nice dive! And your shearing looks great! Do you all process the wool and work with it on site? Or do you pass/sell it on to a local place?
@joyonthelandwithrufus81156 ай бұрын
🤣 I'm just along for the ride. So, this batch of wool is going to Ewetopia in LaFarge to be made into little wool pellets as a garden additive. The hope is in the future we will have cleaner wool to actually make into yarn but we aren't there yet.

@@joyonthelandwithrufus8115 I have been thinking about reaching out to see if we could meet up and discuss video content. I am trying to figure out some ways to do more video production but make it affordable enough through retainer. Especially event coverage etc. I can think of a number of ways you folks could really scale up the digital audience and perhaps take in some additional means of monetizing efforts out there. I saw you are doing memberships now which is so cool!

Super helpful video Rufus! Im curious which seeder you prefer for beets and spinach?
@joyonthelandwithrufus81158 ай бұрын
Gosh sorry for the slow response I stopped making videos in the heat of the season but I'm going get back on it. I prefer the Jang for beets and the Earthway for Spinach. You want to be able to maintain spacing with your beets but I like to throw down spinach kinda thick since I'm cutting it when it's young. Hope that helps happy gardening!
