I am Al-Blooai, from a tribe that has inhabited this land, featured in the video, since 575 BC. Over time, our numbers have diminished, and during the Islamic expansion, many migrated to North Africa. Today, the tribe resides further south, beyond Wadi Al-Disah, extending to Al-Ula. I was born in the USA, spent my childhood in Riyadh, and have now lived in the UK for seven years, where I hold citizenship. Throughout my life, I’ve traveled extensively, yet Tabuk has always held a special place in my heart. Since childhood, I’ve regularly visited Tabuk to reconnect with relatives. Its unique landscape-orange sands, striking mountains, and ancient dark rocks-sets it apart. These rocks, shaped over millennia by climate and wind, feature fascinating formations that make the mountains truly distinctive. One glance at any image of the Tabuk desert is enough for me to recognize it instantly; it is unmistakable. The region's exceptional beauty is matched by its unique weather, where temperatures can vary by more than 20 degrees throughout the day. I often find myself longing for the desert, reminiscing about wandering through it with friends or enjoying the serene beaches of the Gulf of Aqaba, which I greatly prefer over the Red Sea. I have a deep love for both the desert and the sea, and Tabuk offers the best of both worlds. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video-I hope your trip was memorable. Kind regards, Al-Blooai

I had to laugh when I saw the shot of the wild donkeys! I was camping with my family in one of the wadis near Tawaren, and was answering the call of nature right around sunrise. I heard a rustling behind a bush and my still sleepily groggy brain thought a wolf was behind the bushes stalking me. Needless to say I bolted back to camp only to see a donkey stroll past coming from the direction I came from 😂😂😂. Fantastic video, my friends.

Nothing beats a 70 series in the desert! I like my Prado 150 and it’s taken me on some excellent adventures in the Kingdom, but like the old defender, the 70 series just speaks to the romantic adventurer in me.

It's not a sinkhole, it was used as a quarry. The cave system exists due to the evaporite Hith Formation (Late Jurassic) that is exposed in the lowermost part of the wall. The Hith Formation forms the seal for the most prolific oil reservoirs in Saudi Arabia, the Arab A-D reservoirs in Ghawar Field. This outcrop was first studied by a team of SOCAL geologists led by Max Steinecke in the mid-1930s. Its understanding was essential to the discovery of oil in the Eastern Province in 1936, with the famous DMMM-7 well near Dhahran, also called the "Prosperity Well".

This will show us the same way back if we have to, or download other people's routes and go there. Would be nice if the users can live text about the track/adventure. Please hive me some hints! It’s sulfur water, it even has the smell of egg whites. You can drink it by leaving it away from the source in the sun for a day.
