We are never really alone. God and Jesus are in everyone. They are inside of you. If you ask Jesus for the Holy Spirit, and He sends her to you, She is there too. So, at any one time, you are with God, Jesus, maybe the Holy Spirit, and yourself. That is four spirits that are with you at all times, night and day. It may seem strange at first to try to talk to spirits that you can't see, but you may want to try it. Turn off the TV, radio, computer, and all distractions. Be alone in the quiet. Just talk to God or Jesus like you would talk to a friend. You can talk to them silently or aloud. They are inside of you, so whether you talk inside your head or aloud, They hear you. They know your memories, so you can talk to Them about past events. They see what you see, hear what you hear, taste what you taste and feel what you feel. The Bible actually contains many verses that say God is within, but for some reason, this isn't talked about at most churches. It should be. It would make a world of difference to people if they knew they were not alone, and if they knew the true answer to, "Where is God when you need Him?" The truth is, He is right there inside you.

I'm moving to a new state soon in early retirement (exciting, right?!), but I keep focusing on the negative things in the news about that new state rather than all the reasons why we picked this new state. My husband gave me some real wisdom, "Don't fill in uncertainty with speculation." It's so true!

Dr Puff thank you for this podcast it really hit home with me! My parents have both died and I used to talk with them daily and I am in the process of grieving and accepting they are in a better place. The shift has come that my sister no longer calls me everyday and it has created loneliness and thoughts in my head because my expectation was that her calls would continue daily and they are not unless I’m the one calling her. So I have been suffering and I am now aware thanks to you that it’s really when I have an expectation of her to call and she doesn’t I am the one that suffers. No phone calls can be another loss and I will be ok.

I tried to be kind to unkind people for so long but it left me depleted and depressed, I have had to learn to let them go. Because I have been friends with these types of people for so long, I started to become unkind myself. So isolating myself from these people has helped me heal and rediscover my heart and be able to have the energy to give to other people. But I am never mean to them, I just distance myself from them.

Great video. I used to feel upset that it took me half my life to come to the realizations that lead me to where I am today, but then I realized that that wasn't a good way to look view my life. Today I'm just grateful that I realized these things at all. Being grateful keeps me gounded, realistic and appreciative for my life and self aware and self accountable. This video was very positive and helpful aswell. Thank you.

I am SO SICK and TIRED of people who say that people who live in mobile home parks are “trailer trash.” Trailers now are very beautiful inside, and have several bedrooms, sunk in tubs, even fire places, etc. The trailer I used to live in was 1,900 square feet and costs $1,200 per month mortgage! So the mobile home parks of today are not the low cost, trashy places still seen in some poorer areas (just like run down houses)Bedsides that, there are JUST as many “trashy, “run down houses as there are trailers, but we dont put them in the same category. I live in a beautiful doublewide trailer, and i keep it up the maintenance snd manicure the yard beautifully.

Ive never wanted to live in a mansion or even a beautiful house. All i want is not to have to struggle to pay the electric bill, etc. if i had money, i would be extremely happy because these basic needs are met.i would not always want to live in a larger house or have a more expensive car, etc.

This is such a beautiful video Robert. Contentment is the art of having few expectation. With practice, it becomes second nature and suddenly, we reduce our misery. The buddhist says that the source of suffering is craving. I think craving for a specific outcome is a sure way to suffer by disappointment. Thank you for making this video available.

It seems to me that it is a good idea to have high desires, and low expectations. I have big goals and dreams, but I don't expect to accomplish all of them. If I get positive outcomes more than half of the time, then my expectations are exceeded and I'm happy.

I think what Dr.Puff is telling us is that we should see negativity as lessons in disguise than avoiding negativity. Let's be real as humans we have thoughts and feelings come up every single day, and to combat them is see them as lessons to allow ourselves to become better version of ourselves than seeing negativity as bad things. My thoughts on this is as a spiritual woman diagnosed with depression to deal with negativity is Journaling, yoga, meditation, exercise, art, and writing it allows me to express myself and be my true self. What's even better is I am an introvert and I am embrace it wholeheartedly because there's benefits of being alone, and I find my peace and real self being alone. Also, I'm grateful for coming across your channel I am love with voices like yours that are calming and soothing as if you're putting me to sleep.

My ex would always tell me to stop being negative, when really I just had low expectations but a positive attitude. But the fact that I didn’t assume everything was going to be so freaking perfect all the time set me up to be positively surprised a lot of the time. And he set his expectations so high that he was often disappointed and annoyed
