thank you!! i am addicted to cutting my hair so i don’t know about growing it yet lol 😭😭 i want to start growing it out more now so have been doing lots of masks and really trying to look after my scalp

Just an fyi: this probably means you have high porosity hair. Most people who have similar texture and porosity to yours would benefit from damp styling - I wish more people spoke about this! Wet styling allows for great clumping of high porosity but it can be a waste of product

No curls are grown into larger spheres. I’m a traveler I’ve seen them. You must expanded your knowledge of hair textures .

here i used the shea moisture moringa and avocado curl cream for leave in and then the boots curl creme for hold! :) for hair masks i like the shea moisture manuka honey one and there is an aussie deep moisture mask that i love too!

i just do it to protect my hair overnight ☺️ its so that my curls are protected from my cotton sheets to help keep my hair from getting messy overnight and it can also help keep hair more hydrated and less frizzy

Wouldn't that much product make your hair sticky even when it is dry? Mine do fell like that and I take a twice the amount you just used on one strand on my entire hair. May that be from them not being wet enough when I style them?

it’s not sticky when i use that much product on my hair and i like to damp style. maybe try playing around with how wet your hair is and how much product you add to find a good balance 🤍

Careful because that tension in the back of your neck can cause hair breakage and more serious issues if you do this too often. It would be similar to putting your hair in a jojo siwa ponytail everyday this method can give you bald spots due to high tension. Its better to have your scarf fall off than your hair fall off 🤌🏾

thank you for the comment i appreciate it!! i make sure to use a satin scarf so there is less friction and it’s so low down on my head it’s pretty much past where my hair stops and i have wrapped my hair like this for years and never had issues but i will bear in mind! how do you wrap your curls instead? 🤍
