How do you 100% trust them with client credit cards bc itll be so easy for them to do fraud or use the clients money to do other things. I only trust myself😭😂
@yoccm1520 күн бұрын
Amd I'm talking raining for errands running like groceries/store runs, when clients may give you cards to buy purchases
@TheKellySchaefer16 күн бұрын
@@yoccm15 thats a mindset shift. I dont "worry" about my people "stealing" - instead I hire people whom I put through a hiring process. Then I TRUST that they are good people - VS believing they're not. You'll never get beyond "yourself" without developing trust in other humans. So it's part a logical hiring process - BUT first, it's 100% a mindset shift.

Are you able to make 16k a month just by yourself though? Bc i dint plan on having a large team bc how will i trust them with my clients credit cards and things. So am i at least able to make 8k a month alone, withOUT a team?

I think I plan to charge around 40 or 50 an hr? But should I charge more, I live in baltimore city
@TheKellySchaefer16 күн бұрын
have you done the math? No - 16K months was not feasible by JUST me. Can you do 8K a month? Work the math backwards. How many hours a week are you going to work to make that? Then the harder part is not whether or not you can "make 8K" - But will you do the work needed to create 8K months? ( the marketing to get clients ).

As a male, I have never organized a closet. Let alone the house. How would I learn to do this so that I can start offering that as a business?
@TheKellySchaefer29 күн бұрын
There are organizations and places you can take classes. But for many who offer this as a service - it often "comes natural" which is what drives people to start a business in that arena. There's also many varying degrees of organizing. Cool thing - you can just offer things that feel aligned to you - or you're naturally "good at".

Do you have a video showing how to structure a membership business? What I mean by this is, if I pay my business only on memberships how many hours do I offer per client and how do I break that down in a membership type of business?

this is training inside my coaching programs - it requires more thoughtful consideration. at a high level - just come up with 2 offers: X number of hours for X amt of dollars.

The form on your website isn't working so I don't know if the bundle is no longer available, or if your form isn't working. There doesn't seem to be a way to contact you via your website so I'm trying to reach you here. Thanks.

Also, Im having hard time getting clients and I've been operating for 6 months now. I feel ppl want the service but doesnt seem like they want to get it? Am I doing something wrong?

depending on your demographics, area you live in - it could be a "pricing" issues. If your pricing is in line- but you are new to the industry - it could be a - you haven't proven the "value" yet to your market. If the pricing is right - it's a marketing issue ( not enough "right fit" people know about you )

its always something to consider. In the industry many people have "10 miles included" in their pricing. Over time - I got rid of that practice unless it was significant mileage. reason = lots of additional tracking, billing + admin work

AWESOME!! If you're confident about doing memberships - go for it - But for most people it's a little harder. BUT - you CAN start as simply as "consolidate" the days you run errands and simply just offer THOSE days. For ex: For me _ I only offered Tues /Weds and Thurs

Hi Kelly. Thank you for this video. It is clear what the benefits are for me selling the $500 package for x months. However what would you answer the prospective client when they ask what is the benefit for them to commit long term? For instance when I was in radio sales, the larger the package and longer the commitment there would be a discount as their incentive. Thank you in advance.

Thank you Kelly! I just discovered you and ordered your book. I watched this video and I have a question. I am starting a concierge business. I live near a huge senior citizen community and believe this demographic will be my dominant one but starting out I am also goi g to market it to include busy working people. My husband thinks I should charge a higher rate for the busy folks and a discount for seniors at least in the beginning. What are your thoughts ?
@TheKellySchaefer2 ай бұрын
you get to make that decision - whatever feels easier for you. But I will tell you that intentionally seeking out opportunities to work with 2 different demographics like that - can be tiring - This video explains why: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZOnlZigq8Smoposi=Og0UJ3imDeMg0T-H

Why not give pricing info
@TheKellySchaefer2 ай бұрын
Because it's a personal and unique answer for each person based on where they live, market awareness, and how/what you want to charge and your primary business model. But I can say on average - $40 - $50/hr. ( That being said - My methodology is not to charge by the hour - but rather in packages and memberships ( for a variety of reasons ). I have several other "pricing" videos you can use. The people i interviewed have VERY different pricing, so it can become confusing for people just starting out.
