Sorry to hear Ozlo's marketing tricked you into buying them purely for music listening. I agree the sound quality alone does not really justify the $300 price tag. In my opinion the Ozlo's fall into the medical device category. And are really designed for light sleepers / tinnitus patients. If you wake up a lot during the night due to noises and/or have tinnitus.. they are honestly worth their weight in gold! 😎 I'd also buy them for $500 (and I'm not rich 😄)

Black Birkin bag, this is the first good choice I made. I can afford a Kelly bag in any color. If I were 25, I'd probably buy it. But now I consciously don't want to date a woman who has a Kelly and a Birkin. After coming into contact with kislux , I am more willing to invest the money saved in my own growth.

These work great for masking sound, especially when you have a loud sleeper next to you. They are not intended for your everyday music listening and most people have their favorite buds or headphones for this. I've had these for a few months now and these are the best sleep buds I've used. A big plus is the battery life - the only ones that last all night (9+ hours) where everything else out there only goes about 4 hours. The connectivity issues that were present were solved for me when I did the firmware update that was released maybe a month or so ago. I agree that these are primarily for sleep, not everyday use given that they don't have additional function. So they are good for what they are intended to be, but I agree that they are expensive. For me, it was worth it.
@cameranerdsmedia
@cameranerdsmedia 7 күн бұрын
Yeah I’ve updated the firmware to these before I made this review. The connections issues are still present for me. I’m using iPhone. They are advertised to be used in multi media applications on their product page like music, Netflix. The overall sound quality is very poor compared to even entry level earbuds and at $300 this is not acceptable. I think this would be a more competitive product in the $100 category and they need to remove all multimedia examples on their product page as this is definitely false advertising

These are not for listening to music. They’re for sound masking. And for this they do a perfect job. I used to have the Bose sleep buds. These are pretty much identical in design with afew extra features. For someone like me who has tinnitus for which regular earplugs don’t work, this is perfect. Also I’m a side sleeper and can barely feel them. Oh, and these are the only ones on the market that have the sounds preloaded so you don’t have to have a Bluetooth connection running into your head all night. Big win from me.

Directly from their product description tells otherwise.“Stream whatever helps to put your mind in its happy place: podcasts, audiobooks, music, meditations, the choice is yours.” . They also show apps like Netflix, KZbin, Spotify, Hulu ….. Also here is another quote directly from their Description “Exceptional audio with low-distortion” . To say they never intended people to use these for music or multimedia applications is completely untrue and all the facts are there on their product page. I’m happy so many people are trying to challenge me on this. Please go do your research before commenting on my video. They have tons of issues regardless of sound quality.

I appreciate that they offer a 30-day return policy, so you're not stuck with a product that doesn’t meet your needs. That said, it seems like you're trying to convince your audience-many of whom, like myself, are new to your channel-that these earphones are being marketed for sound quality. However, after reviewing their website, I estimate that about 98% of the content focuses on features like comfort, sleep sounds, and battery life, with only a brief mention of their ability to stream regular audio, such as Spotify for music, podcasts, or guided meditation. While I agree they seem overpriced at $300, I don’t think it's fair to compare them to other $300 headphones based solely on sound quality, especially since Ozlo doesn’t claim to compete in that area. It seems you hoped these sleep-aid earphones could function like high-end, all-day TWS earbuds with added comfort. Your review is valuable because many viewers are likely hoping for Bose-like comfort and sound quality to replace their multifunctional devices like AirPods. Your experience shows that these headphones won't even try to meet those expectations. I think it would be best to leave it at that: These are not an AirPods killer.
@cameranerdsmedia
@cameranerdsmedia 4 күн бұрын
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and I really appreciate the detailed feedback! I do want to clarify a few points because I think there's some misunderstanding about my review. First off, I completely agree that the 30-day return policy is a great feature, and it’s a key reason I felt comfortable giving these a shot in the first place. However, the reason I focused on sound quality in my review, despite the sleep-specific marketing, is because of the price point. At $300, I think it's fair to consider all aspects of the product, including its audio performance. Most people, when shelling out that much, are expecting at least decent sound, whether it's for music, podcasts, or even movies, especially when they’re told Bose engineers are involved. I understand that these headphones are designed specifically for sleep, but I also think it's reasonable to expect them to be versatile enough to use for other daily activities-especially since the marketing leans toward comfort and battery life, which are important but don’t necessarily mean it should fall short in sound quality. I highlighted that they don't sound great because that's a significant downside when comparing them to other options at the same price, like the AirPods Pro. I wasn’t trying to position them against everyday headphones, but rather pointing out that for the price, the sound just isn’t competitive with other products marketed for general use and they do mention in their marketing about having great sound quality. I definitely agree that they’re incredibly comfortable, and I mentioned that as a pro, especially for side sleepers, which was my main reason for trying them out in the first place. The battery life is also impressive, and I think that’s an area where they shine, but the lack of noise canceling and connectivity issues did cause frustration, as I mentioned in the review. I didn’t intend to mislead anyone into thinking these could replace AirPods or other high-end headphones, but I do think it’s important to note that they *could* have done more, especially when you factor in the price. If someone is looking for sleep-specific earbuds and doesn’t care about using them for anything else, they might be okay with these, but for people like me who were hoping for a more multipurpose option, they just didn’t deliver. So, I would say they aren’t "AirPods killers" by any means, but they also didn’t live up to what I hoped they'd be. Thanks again for the feedback! It’s always great to get different perspectives, and I’m glad this sparked a discussion about expectations and features.

U want good sound quality and connectivity, with enuf battery to get thru a night's sleep. That means big earbuds- which means u lose side sleep ability. U can't have both. In a tiny sleep bud, u go with what's important. I'd even take music playback out- just focus on sound deadening.

It seems like most of your issues are user error. They are not meant to be used as an everyday earbud. The case is supposed to be sat next to you on a nightstand and stay there. Your phone contacts to the case and the case contacts to the earbuds. LTT has a really good video explaining this. Of course they don’t have anything to take calls with because it’s meant for sleep, unless you’re taking calls in your sleep. But I do agree that 300 bucks is outrageous.

1. Having terrible sound quality not user error 2. Having terrible connection issues even when puck is next to me not user error 3. Being a app dependent headphone is not user error 4. Having a hum on a sleep pair of headphones 😂 absolutely ridiculous and not user error 5. LTT video is paid showcase video as is most of all the videos here on KZbin. Mine is a unsponsored real feedback video that at the moment seems to be the only one here on KZbin 6. I think you are confused. I am expressing my frustrations on why we have $300 single use case headphones in 2024 that is clearly explain each one of these points in my video. At $300 there is no reason why these shouldn’t be multiple use headphones with these added features.
